Our History
JJM New Media Company, formerly known as Jaimes-Melgar Social Media Consultation LLC, was founded in June 2024 by Jorge Jaimes-Melgar with a clear mission: to empower small and mid-sized businesses to thrive in an ever-evolving digital world. What began as a social media consulting firm offering personalized strategies, website design, graphic design, and marketing support quickly grew into something much larger.
As the digital landscape continued to shift, so did our vision. Recognizing the need for a broader, more creative approach to media, we evolved into JJM New Media Company—a forward-thinking multimedia platform focused not only on social media strategy but also on original content creation.
Today, we produce our own podcast exploring a wide range of topics, publish thought-provoking blogs and opinion pieces, and engage deeply with both online culture and real-world current events. Our goal is to spark meaningful conversation and foster connection—bridging strategy and storytelling to create content that reflects, critiques, and contributes to the world we live in—both online and off.

At the heart of the emblem is a feline silhouette—representing agility, independence, and quiet resilience. This symbolizes not only the founder’s personal mythology but also the spirit of the company: observant, bold, and unafraid to challenge convention.
The three stars represent the pillars of The Melgarian Code:
Truth through Reflection (understanding the world and oneself honestly),
Progress through Adaptation (changing with purpose),
Justice through Participation (empowering all voices).
Encircling the image is a radiant burst, illustrating the ripple effect of ideas, creation, and conversation. It's a visual metaphor for our mission: to create media that resonates, disrupts stagnation, and inspires change—both in digital spaces and in real life.

aBOUT THE FOUNDER
Jorge J. Jaimes-Melgar is a self-starter, creative strategist, and founder of JJM New Media Company. Born in Ixtapan de la Sal, Mexico and raised in Southern California, Jorge’s values were shaped by firsthand experience with cultural nuance, working-class resilience, and the need for authentic representation. After relocating to Nebraska and working in a wide range of roles—from manual labor to administrative positions—he began laying the foundation for something of his own.
On June 6, 2024, Jorge launched the company that would evolve into JJM New Media Company, originally focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses navigate the digital world. As both his vision and the media landscape evolved, so did the company. By redefining its mission, Jorge shifted the focus toward personal content creation—podcasts, blogs, and opinion pieces that explore the issues affecting people every day, directly or indirectly.
At the same time, he remains committed to supporting local businesses by helping them build, refine, and elevate their brands across digital platforms. Whether it’s crafting meaningful content or empowering others to do the same, Jorge believes in the power of storytelling as both a strategy and a service.
He specializes in Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram) and holds a non-credit certification in Ethical Social Media from the University of Sydney. As the author of The Melgarian Code, a philosophy of ethical progress and democratic renewal, Jorge brings depth and intention to everything JJM New Media Company creates.
In both life and work, Jorge champions the belief that media should do more than entertain—it should inform, empower, and spark change.
